Comex BioSec Reader® (RÖS-class U1)
Comex BioSec Reader® is a card terminal developed with the latest technology and the highest level of security in the area. The card terminal can be used in different contexts for strong authentication, encryption, and to create digital signatures.
Three methods for identification can be used in Comex BioSec Reader® ; smart card, PIN, and finger biometric.
Comex BioSec Reader® can also be used as a mobile product since it has a chargeable battery with at least two hours of operation time. The card terminal, also called “KT2” in the Swedish Armed Forces, is RÖS protected according to the class U1. It will meet the requirements of the international standard Common Criteria EAL4+.
Comex BioSec Reader® is enclosed with a Windows XP driver. We also offer you additional software such as CSP (Cryptographic Service Provider) for integration in existing IT system.
