Paper shredders
Intimus paper shredders are designed to handle everything from everyday document destruction in an office environment to the destruction of classified information. The products are available in several security levels according to DIN 66399 and selected models are approved according to the NATO standard for document destruction. The design enables reliable and quiet operation even in continuous use.
Media destroyers
Media shredders from Intimus are developed for the secure and permanent destruction of storage media such as SSD, USB, SD cards, smartphones, tablets (without battery), CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, hard drives (HDD), floppy disks, magnetic tapes and credit cards. By mechanical cutting, crushing or grinding, the information becomes impossible to recreate. The machines are, adapted for different security levels and volumes. They are built to easily pass through standard doors and have an integrated lifting system that simplifies screen changes (cutting blades).
Demagnetization and crushing
Intimus degaussing and shredding systems are designed to securely destroy storage media such as hard drives, LTO tapes, DLT tapes and other types of magnetic tapes. First, all magnetic information is removed, then the device is shredded so that no data can be recovered. The products are designed for locations where classified information must be handled properly.

What is the difference between media destruction and degaussing?
Media destruction refers to the physical destruction of smaller storage media such as USB sticks, CD/DVDs and SD cards. Degaussing is used for magnetic storage devices such as hard drives and tapes, where data is erased by removing the magnetic field. In some cases, degaussing is combined with crushing to achieve complete destruction.
Do you have products that meet NATO requirements?
Yes, several of our destruction systems are NATO-approved and meet requirements for physical data destruction according to established security standards. These products are especially adapted for operations within defense, government and total defense where documentable and approved destruction is a requirement.
